After a long Friday, close to midnight, I stepped outside to feel the calming freshness.
The sky immediately caught my attention.
Above me was a clear, starry expanse, with only the Moon having thin white clouds drifting gently in her background, while a little breeze swirling around me. Everything was mesmerizing. Nature in one of its simplest forms, delicate yet overwhelmingly beautiful.
I felt for etching it beyond my memories.
So, I hurried back inside, picked up my camera, and returned to capture that what I just witnessed.
After taking the photographs, I found myself pausing, absorbing the gentleness of the scene, and smiled back at the sky for it made me feel wonderful! Minutes later, I was back at my computer, checking all the frames in detail. I had taken multiple shots, but these two perspectives stood out so flawlessly, that I wanted the world to cherish!

As I looked through them, I felt humbled by a realization.
Realising that I am Learning to See
There is a certain joy in recognizing a beautiful moment and then being able to frame it in a way that preserves what first caught our attention.
As I looked at the photographs, I realized that beyond the satisfaction of capturing the images in manual mode, something else felt rewarding too. Over the years, perhaps without consciously acknowledging it, I seem to have developed an eye for detail, beauty, and composition.
That night felt like a small affirmation.
I am learning to see
Not just through a camera lens, but through a growing awareness of the world around me.
We often say life is short because there is so much to experience and achieve. But, in our attempt to pursue them all, we sometimes forget to pause, observe, and appreciate the tiny, beautiful details that make life memorable in innumerable ways, in its truest sense.
The human mind cannot remain blank for very long. So, when we step away from work and spend time simply being in nature, our capacity to observe expands. We begin to notice details that were always present.
The clear sky, the sparkling stars, and the Moon were no different from countless other moonlit nights.
But it only became special to me when I was willing to notice it.
For a moment, I felt connected to something timeless. Something that existed long before my birth and will continue to exist long after I am gone.
A full circle.
